My TBR pile is as long as the parents from Cheaper By The Dozen's shopping list, I buy books incessantly but I never have time to read them. The joys of a job, college and a social life; it doesn't leave time for much reading time. Which is a giant shame, but alas what can be done! haha
But I wanted to share the top 10 books on my to read list (Not College Related) I'm going to do 5 physical books and 5 Kindle books! :D
Physical books: 1. The Red Queen - Victoria Aveyard
2. Fairest - Marissa Meyer
3. How To Build A Girl - Caitlin Moran
4. All I Know Now - Carrie Hope Fletcher
5. Girl Online - Zoe Sugg
All of which I've had for a longgggg time (except Carrie's book!) and I can't wait to dive into them. Girl Online and All I Know Now are both Hardback and the other three are paperbacks but I really want to read them ASAP!
Kindle books. 1. Confess - Colleen Hoover (the only Hoover book I haven't read!)
2. Asa - Jay Crownover (Last Marked Men novel (I think!))
3. The Bronze Horseman - Paulina Simmons
4. Me Earl and The Dying Girl - Jesse Andrews.
5. The Miniaturist - Jessie Burton.
Again, not all of these books are out very long but I've been waiting for them for a long while so, I'm looking forward to getting around to reading them!
Last year I read 163 books, this time last year I was about my 50th book - maybe a little more. This time around I have read 12 books and 3 of them were college related ( I am doing an English degree but I'm only counting novels towards my goal; not poetry or Tales or collection of essays or anything below 200 pages!). So yes 9 books in almost 5 months is pretty pitiful compared to last year but I hope to rectify this!
So this year my goodreads goal was 75 but recently I changed it to 50, as 75 seems not plausible at the moment, but who knows!
